Medium size Whipped Potato?

Today marked the 2nd week working from KL and as expected, I can see Kai Meng still down and sad from the moment we apart even though I've keep counselling to him over the past few days don't get sad as I will be back very soon.

After my long trip way back from KL, I was lazy to dine around and just feel to go home ASAP and get myself relax. As usual will be getting KFC and before I ask to change my both side dish to whipped potato, the cashier told me they have out of coleslaw and will replace me a medium size Whipped Potato. I was so curious because back in KL, it's either you will have a small size (1 scoop) or large (about 4 scoops).

When I got back and opened, it's really medium size and I believe it has 2 scoops within. Saw something new today :)

You can see it's almost bigger than my USB mouse

First day at Meria Suriang

Since today is my first day reporting, I was already at MVM somewhere 8am and was wondering if someone would already in office otherwise I will need to loitering until 9am but luckily the receptionist is already there. She was quite friend and helpful as not only she assisted me on administration stuffs like proximity card but lead me to my cube and a office tour.

Along my tour, most of the colleagues were very cheerful and friendly and I guess partly they know I was from Singapore. Not sure if they are all this friendly or just got to know that I'm from Regional office but I hope not the latter one.

The KL office seems smaller than SG but I feel it's more cozy and homey. Partition isn't high and everyone just cramp around. The office condition seems a bit old and guess what, even though they rented the whole floor but only allocated ONE toilet deck for male staffs due to the shortage facility from the building and majority of the staffs are women. Now, I can really feel the impact being minority in an organization and was advised by other male colleagues to go down one floor and borrow someone's toilet instead. OMG, really freak me out and better don't drink too much water :p

Luckily they are planning to move to new office block near MVM as it's still yet to be ready, maybe in another few years time. I'm not really 'keh poh'ing but this might be my long term office area so should hope for better future right?

Was given the proximity card for KL office and now I'm having 2 sets ... sound so cool but better don't lost it otherwise will get fine. As for my cube, just so so only and it's quite corner ... facing towards the admin room and pantry. Sound pity but one thing for sure is I'm with a whole bunch of marketing and beauty advisors so manage to get some good 'view' if too tense working :P

One for building portal and another for office

Pantry

Even pantry lady also got mini cube :p
During lunch time, have to go alone as so happen my KL colleagues went training at Singapore and only be back on Wed. What a bad timing but still oklah as I finally get a chance to work near (or above) a mall ... some more it's Mega Mall. Likewise, I might not visit this mall during my weekend shopping as I will be in this mall for 5 days a week. Can't imagine my other KL colleagues as they have been here for at least 5 years.

Bersih 2.0 - Patriotic remotely over SG

Today is the long awaited peace rally organised by Bersih 2.0. It suppose to be neutral body who wish to have a peace rally to express to the government (especially U Must Not Object and Barang Naik) to have a clean, free and fair election but was misleaded by the weakening and paranoid culprits.

The rally details, aftermath, pictures and videos can be found widely and easily thru Internet and it's solely up to your judgement and personal view towards this rally. To me, I will still support this revolutionary (and reformation) rally over KiasuLand not just words but action too (I wore a YELLOW shirt) ;)

I know this is just nothing compare to those hero and heroin who sacrifice their precious time and stand against the authority in order to achieve Bersih's objectives. No matter how tough the situation with chemical treated water, tear gas and inhuman treatment given by the police, they stood still and keep fighting for the nation. This isn't took place in Malaysia but other main countries (by Malaysian of course) like Austria, Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, UK, US and more. They even sang 'Negaraku' during the rally and this is what we call "Anak Malaysia" and 1Malaysia can 'tah pau' and return to "Ah Jib".

BEEEEERRSSIIIIIIHHHHH!

Lunch at Tg Pagar

One of our gang wanted to lunch at Tg Pagar where it has a neighbour wet market and food court. Overall, their food are ok because it was inherit from their parents/been running their business for years (and cheap too). Unlike other food court in mall, new neighbour, kopitiam, etc, which either run by immigration (owned by local) and their price will be higher due to high rent.

It's not very near my office and it will take about 15 mins if were to take bus but luckily some of our team couldn't make it and one of my colleagues offer to drive us ... so let's go :)

I was told their nasi lemak and wantan noodle are good so decided to whack both of them and dessert too :)

Nice sambal and crispy fried drumstick. Nasi lemak is S$2.40 and each drumstick at S$1.20
Burp!!! Round 2, Wantan noodle at S$2.50 :)

Ching T'ng at S$2 ... Cool and refreshing, similar or MY's Lin Chi Kang
Though it's hot and pack here but I find it cheap, good and nice ... can't wait for next round ;)

Buy Penguin but ended up with Robot

What a busy and tiring Wednesday. Since it's been a while not going for movie ... today will be it. Decided to get some comedy movie to cheer up my mood and picked Mr. Popper's Penguins. Happily leave office on the dot and happily reach the cinema without hassle but my booking was invalid!!!!!! After verified with my details, still no luck but luckily the cashier offer me change to another movie. Seeing the walk-in queue was rather long so decided to grab it seems Transformer is the only choice, 3D some more :(

Why sad? Firstly, I don't like 3D as I might get motion sick and secondly, my company will have movie day on Friday with same movie, sigh. Before the movie start, I've to let go all negative comments by friends and media because it everyone will have different preferences and interpretation.

After the show, my comment is .... no regret ;)

Last trip to KL before the new arrangement start

After this trip, I will have to wait for 2 weeks before I can meet my family again because my new arrangement with the company is to work in SG for the first 2 weeks of the month then in KL for the remaining 2 weeks. The pros is I can stay longer with my family and I don't have to travel in weekly basis which will reduce my traveling cost (and less tired too) where the cons is I have to spend a weekend in SG which I think is ok as I can't be too demanding :(

Received following souvenir from a colleague who just came back from vacation at Japan. The cake and biscuit are common but the plum wine is something new and cool. I like the case as the shape is exactly like a small plum.

About 6pm, I have to leave office to catch my bus back to KL but before that I will need to purchase an external battery for my devices especially for iPad as I've misplace the adaptor :( The cost to buy a non-original is S$35 but the ext battery just S$64 where I can use it for other purposes as well. What if I manage to recover my old adaptor when I bought a new adaptor? Along the journey home, I manage to charge my BB at full with the existing current stored and still at medium bar. Looks cool ;)

Can't help myself to take this shot while waiting for the 'late' bus
Cool, this round got In-Bus Entertainment. Going to be fun trip ;)
The external battery pack, I don't like the colour but that's the last one :(
