Yesterday was day 1 of ITRD3, it has some minor hiccup and I think it should be fine as nothing is perfect but today, it seems thing went really wrong when most of the role assignment went hare wire. Missing roles, incomplete FBP ... all these shouldn't happen and this is the third time they are doing this.
The best thing was, they thought I'm new and not familiar with their process and indirectly caused this. The fact is they ask me to assign that, I just did as per their request. I must admit their assignment can be complex but it's not their first time and I'm sure they will have some tools to monitor or to simplify the process (also tracking it). As APAC is the first region start the testing in morning, therefore I had it all but luckily my backup from US is helping me otherwise ... I'd be dead meat by now.
Also, glad to have my new buddies went lunch with me and had some chat, also nice view from the food court. Then it makes me feel better ... this is how it looks like :-
Lunch is just S$4 but the view is fee :)
During lunch, I took some errand to survey and bought something that I've wanted to buy since last month but due to financial issue and no stock, I've gave up but now it's far more cheaper and with stock ;) I know someone would read my blog and to make it more interesting, I will not tell here but to let them see when I'm back to KL this Friday :p
After lunch, I'm back to hell to sort out the remaining. Bad things seems not coming once as some so called Functional Experts thought they know everything try to push the testing issue to my area and making 2 important defects raised to my team and insist to join in for my night TC with my Security team. To me, I must admit the role assignment is a chaos but it's under controlled and the second issue from Functional Expert is their area issue but still want me to share the load ... WTF
It's not just that but the PM even asked me to switch my cubicle, to sit nearer to them which I feel very irritated and annoying. Why they just can't respect people? When I was first join, why they didn't assign that to me instead putting me at another corner? And now because I'm in need and seems slightly important to them then they wanted me to sit nearer?
Right after my TC and finish off some work, I went off office and went dinner with my colleague. It's not cheap but quite nice. After sharing the bill, each of us just pay about S$20 and it was a nice one. I've to claim myself damn stupid when I had the same crab in Boat Quay previously which cost me S$100 just for the crab. Hopefully I can find more nice and cheap food here :)
