Speechless ...

Today's work seems lengthy and luckily I manage early because I can still clear all my emails before start to work on support tickets. Since Akash is back, we've delegated the work. While I was having lunch and reading news thru BB, there was a news suddenly captured my attention "KTMB train derail at Singapore" :-

Though it was different train (this is Express Rakyat and the one I usually take is Senandung Sutera) but is using the same railway. Can you imagine that I just went pass this rail on Monday and the accident took place on following day?! Another thing that bother me was due to this, most of the schedule were affected, some has to cancel and some have to defer or change location. For KL to SG train, they have to stop at JB Sentral and then change transportation to get to SG. For those who suppose to take train at SG, they have to travel to JB and then take train from JB Sentral to KL Sentral. Luckily I got to know they are back to operation today and hopefully everything will be fine this weekend.

That moment, I really feel scare not only of the chances for me to face this but afraid will impact for return for this weekend. So I've decided to forward the news to Shireen but nothing from her. Waited until end of the day also nothing from her. Is she that busy or just nothing to her? During night time, I asked her why no reaction from her and she just tell me :-

Is that all? I never complaint to return every weekend and I'm doing all these because of the family and when there is something happen and that's how I'm being treated? Why can't she just concern me few words like "Are you ok to travel back?", "Any other option? Try take flight if really worry", etc. I'm totally speechless and just carry my duty being a husband and father in the family.

Let's change topic and resume where I stopped. Oh yes, I suppose to leave early today so that I can have my dinner then take the 8:30pm TC at home but workload just too much hence I only left office around 7:40pm. I quickly when to mrt and manage to reach Hougang near 8pm. As I still need to eat but can't afford to miss the call, so I've 'tah pau' and eat at home for the first time and I've bought KFC, also my first time ever since I arrived here.

Basically the taste is a bit heavy and salty compare to KL but their chicken is fresh and less fat. Their whipped potato is better than KL, almost like the taste during my childhood but still not as strong as that. Generally it's ok and just cost me S$6.40 nett. Maybe I should try other fast food soon ...
