Last night consider a good sleep as not much interruption but when I woke up at 6am, I can only see hills and bushes and I felt something is wrong because normally the train should be either at Seremban or Kajang. To clear my doubt, I've decided to use my best friend, Google Map. When I found my coordinate, I was so surprise that I'm still at Johor!!!!! It's around border and I think to myself that I'm in deep sh*t. Something is very wrong. I should have sensed it when it delayed 1 hour at Tg Pagar.
About 25 mins later, the train has stopped at Gemas station and both engine and electricity were cut off. OMG, this is very wrong and luckily there was a KTM conductor went passed and some passengers asking for status. According to him, the front and back engine were faulty and that's why they drive very slow. It should take 30 mins to fix and another 3 hours to KL Sentral. Damn ... This is my first attempt of train break down. I'm still consider ok but poor those Malay friends as today is their Hari Raya Haji. I can imagine they were so happy to celebrate the festive and their family might be waiting at station but have to wait for another 3.5 hours :(
Luckily I've some entertainment with me: psp, ipod and iphone ;). About 11:30am, I finally arrive KL Sentral (normally I arrive at 7:30am) and really tired so quickly went back home, fresh up and fetch my family because they need to pack up and prepare to take train with me to SG tonight. What a day trip for me and another round would be coming Sunday.
Another unexpected issue was today is pasar malam near my home and I can't find any taxi at all. After 10 mins, I manage to stop one but that was executive taxi. Since I've no choice and unsure when I can get the convention taxi better hop in and prepare to pay for more. Once reaching KL Sentral, it was RM26 and it approximately doubled the fare I normally pay. Sigh, with family, no choice lar ...
Despite of all challenges, one thing good is I don't have to travel alone this time. Also let them know things I went thru every week and hope they can understand things I've sacrifice for them. It's now 10:40pm and the gate should open soon. Hope it will be a safe and enjoyable trip for us. Night ;)
