Pitch dark at KL Sentral

It's 1:30am at KL Sentral. Most of the lights were off and if without the victims like me waiting for the train, it would be spooky. Aircond is off and replace with fan. Not stuffy but a bit warm. Some of the passengers were sleeping on the floor, some at corner, some near plants and some even near lift. Scene like those refugees in Discovery Channel.

I hope the train will really come around 1:45am as promised otherwise I would lost half day and not sure if I can leave office at 3pm as company declared off work at that time so that the employees can dress up and prepare to join the Annual D&D but I'm not going. I can't let myself to spend few hundreds dollar to buy something that I hardly use or wear it for once. I don't mind to spend the same amount to something that I used regularly.

It's 1:35am and the gate finally open. Hope the train will be sitting down there waiting for me ... or us. Better sleep at once when in train as it's going to be a long late journey for me :(

Without realising, my bed no is L2#16 and the exact bed that Shireen slept this morning. It reminds me a lot of this morning trip back to KL and especially the kids sleeping above my current bed. One word, it's so painful ... more painful than cut by a knife. Better get sleeping after the conductor check ticket so I don't have to think so much.

Damn, after waited for half an hour then the train only started. Aircond seems barely can feel and I smell some engine smell around me. Shit, tell me everything is fine and no more breakdown ... Touch wood!

Once I woke up from sleep, I can see the sky a bit bright and it's already 7am but when I check the location, I'm still at Kluang. Also I heard the conductor is talking with other passengers that we will only arrive at Woodlands around 10am. As nothing else to do, just drink some water and continue to sleep.

Around 10:30am, I finally reach Woodlands and was there for more than 40 mins. Don't ask me, no idea but it cost another delay for me. By the time I walk out from Tg Pagar, it's almost 11:40am and I reach office around 12pm. Since I've to leave at 3pm (due to company annual D&D but I'm not going as moody), I've decided to skip lunch and quickly finish off my high priorities tasks. Once done, it's already 4:15pm and left office around 4:30pm.

Today, I'm going to survey for my new baby LED monitor (wanted to get laptop but no budget, so better use old laptop with good monitor as I need it for my photography, another alternative to buy a mac). First stop, Mustafa ... located at Little India. I always heard words from mouth that this is a huge store and sell things cheap or at least reasonable. But when I check thru google map, seems Farrer Park station exit is much nearer. Thanks to google map and I manage to locate the store within my finger tip. It's really huge and with very wide range of products from food to electronics then fashion, you name it and most they will have it.

Just behind Serangoon Plaza (can you see the signboard?)

This is it. Few floors including basement. Few entrance lead you to different departmental
As for computer section, things seems not favourable and they don't carry very new models. Some laptops even not cheap especially after conversion to RM. I asked the store keeper and they don't even know what is the model I asked for so I've to leave the store with disappointment. While I was waiting for lift, I saw there's a corner counter selling PSP games, since I'm there why not give it a 'look see look see'. To my surprise, I manage to find Gran Turismo for PSP, which I couldn't find at most places between KL and SG and it's only cost $29. In KL, it's selling about RM198. Crazy cheap until I can't believe it. Before I pay, I even asked if it's original and not 2nd hand product. So now I've got myself a consolidation prize ;)

While walking, passby Clarke Quay bridge and saw Marina Hotel. When will I be there?

Some Tiger mascot, right in the center of the city. Nearby Funan.
Now still 5pm and the day is still young, so where is next? Funan IT mall will be it because I also never been there before. It's fact, it's just 8 mins walking distance from Clarke Quay. I browse each floor and most of them does carry the product but with same promotion price, nothing more nothing less, not even extra freebies. But when I ask for ready stock, 9 out of 10 doesn't have it until I went to the top floor and found Challenger. It's a chain computer market concept like All IT Hypermart in KL but much bigger and wider range of products. Not only computer but they also carry home appliances, game console like xBox, PS3, WII, etc.

They have piles of stock and again, same deal ... nothing more nothing less and since I'm bit of moody and save myself to spend $300 for dinner attire (also pay day is near), so I've decided to get it. To be safe, I went to their customer service to test the unit before home. It has 3 years on site warranty bu to save hassle, better test before bringing it back home.

My baby getting undress

Further undress

My baby being force to lay down on a cushion, with its stick facing me ;)
DG for dinner then movie at 9pm. It's a long show, HP7. It's Violet's fav and must see movie but nothing much choice for me to choose other movie. It's not a bad show and I don't mind to watch it again.

After movie, it's about 12am and I better rush for my last train back to Hougang otherwise I will have to pay extra 50% for taxi. Once home, first thing is to get my baby setup and ready. Here's how it look when unbox and setting up. It takes most of my table space :(

23", Full HD and LED monitor ... yummy
Actual unit in box, getting to be setup soon
Tada ... There it goes, standing 'wide'

It looks cool and so interesting when playing FB games and watch PPS. Not bad and seems a good deal. I've tested it with few different applications to have some general feel or baseline.
Sit next to the old laptop, consume most of the space

See! My blog in LED monitor !!!! YAHOOOOO!
Restaurant City with full screen mode
In Pirate Ahoy, clearing the island
In movie mode, normal scene
In animated cartoon with colourful scene
In photography mode, not bad
