Tiring Saturday

I only had 4.5 hours sleep and need to wake up at 6:15am because need to fetch Violet to school. Also wanted to bring Shireen & Kai Meng to go breakfast at Imbi Market, as it’s been a while we never been there.

Once I parked my car at the usual spot, the parking fee has gone up by RM1 and I was so shock to know such hike. If you say 50 cents, I can still understand but this is RM1 … seems unreasonable. When I ordered the wanton only with soup, last time it cost me RM4 but now it’s RM5!!!! Another RM1. It seems KL inflation is getting serious or that blood sucking owner try to take some advantage during this very moment?
Although the sugar price was raised 30 cents per KG previously but some culprits dare to increase everything by 30 – 50 cents. Chain effect … or domino effect but way against the proportion. This really makes me feel worried when I’m coming back to work in KL soon. Hopefully I won’t have to go through the same situation before I went to SG :(

About evening, we went to the newly refurbished mall called Viva (used to be UE3) and its tenant are mainly home design, furniture, decoratives, etc. It’s something different than those convention furniture expo where this is a mall by itself which also have some other tenants like MBO movies, Giant Hypermarket and key restaurants such as Old Town and Gardens.

I also got to know the opening launch was just yesterday so I’m consider one of those early birds visiting this mall. Though most of this mall has undergone a massive face lift but I can still remember and distinguish the old design/layout too. To me, only 40% of the tenants were opened and the rest are mostly not ready, empty space, coming soon, etc so it’s pretty a fast walk for us.

I think with some time and this mall keep introducing new and special events, I believe it will be doing well because of its strategic location, along the main road of Loke Yew and accessible by LRT commuters too.
