Breakthrough!

It's been a while that I keep hearing people talk about the nice claypot curry chicken near my office. Some said it's nice and some said the price is very reasonable. So finally, today, my lunch gang decided to bring me there ;)

The restaurant name is called "Breakthrough" or in Chinese "突破". This restaurant has a very meaningful initiatives story behind. It was driven by a Christian association whereby it's main goal isn't earning big $$$ but to help the community by employing ex-prisoners. They believe those who were awake after their release should be given 2nd chance. I believe I don't have to explain further and you can imagine the rest of the story.

Most importantly the food really taste not bad and price is very reasonable. For a single claypot (be it curry chicken or assam fish) with rice is just nett S$6.50.

They do sell dessert as well, so it save a trip if you are craving for one
The ladies are busy with the menu
The co-founder, another prisoner as well
It will be perfecto if their gravy is more thick
My Curry Chicken Set
Claypot Assam Fish
My new favourite, Tau Suan ;)
