The Mini Park is now ready

Since I ever moved to SG, there is a section of the pedestrian path was closed for renovation and for the first few months, I have no clue what’s that place going to be but as time passed, I started to realised the community was trying to create a mini park where it consists of exercise equipment for adult/elderly person and jogging track as well.

If you flip back through my ex-postings, I mentioned I was going home one night and was listening to ghost story via my BB. Yes that was the stretch I’m talking about and I did feel chilled and spooky at that very moment but now … it’s totally different and look so comfy even though it’s day or night time.

This is one thing I like about SG is that their community did a very good and strategic planning on every penny they use. Not only they care about the pedestrian where they build a sheltered walk way but also consider some mini park for almost at every block of HDB flat. To me, I feel this benefit mostly the elderly citizen because they can meet up with other elders and do exercise while ‘sembang’ the whole morning.

Even at night, I still see elderly people sit along the bench be it chit chatting or walking the dog as without any worries being stalk by strangers or even thieves. I really hope MY will be able to achieve this …
