Tiger all the way!

This week consider very fast as I travel back to KL on Wed instead of Fri and also via flight. Not rich because I manage to get a good deal, only S$36 nett which is slightly cheaper than Aeroline. About 5pm, I have started to wrap up my work and leave for the day because it was heavy rain earlier and I’m sure the traffic will not be good.

Took bus to Bugis then detour to Changi via MRT and reached Changi around 6pm :) Will meet up with a friend there too because she is leaving back to Jakarta at 8pm. So will have dinner together at T1. Since she will only arrive around 6:30pm, so better to survey where should I take my shuttle bus to Budget Terminal because it’s not at the main airport (T1/T2/T3). After alight from MRT at T2, there is signboard leading you thru a small and long corridor and then you will see the indoor bus stand. Not very well lite up but still ok lar …

About 6:30pm, Cindy finally arrived and we quickly went for dinner at a Chinese restaurant in T1. Food is not bad and price wise quite reasonable. I had their roast pork ramen and the pork was so tasty because it was covered with deep fried garlic ;)

After the dinner, we have to walk differently because she will check in at T1 while I still need to carry on with my journey to BT (Budget Terminal). After waited for 10 mins, the shuttle bus finally arrived and the bus was so packed. Luckily I managed to grab a seat. About 5mins later, I’m at BT! It was so quiet and far better than LCCT, even though it’s also a budget terminal like LCCT does.

My flight supposed to be at 8:50pm but was delayed until 9:30pm. Sh*t I think to myself and I’m sure will have to take midnight taxi … which mean additional $$$

Once landed, I quickly reach out for immigration and so lucky M’sian lane was free so just got over within 5 mins but when come to custom checkpoint, it was long queue and thanks to the ‘efficient’ M’sian custom where they stop every passengers again. At that time, there were China and India tourists and they normally in BIG group. Great, wasted another  15 mins.

Once passed, quickly reach out for bus ticket which is only RM8 and walk as fast as I could to the bus stand and realized the bus was empty. Great, have to wait again and the it finally drive off at 11:15pm. It took me 50 mins to reach KL Sentral and the taxi counter was closed. So have to walk out to stop passer by taxi. Got home around 12:30am but I didn’t went up because I still need to go Pudu to fetch my family. OMG, when I finally reached home, it’s already 1:15am! Throughout the journey,  I took all kind of transportation except sea :(

When doing my calculation, I really spend more time than traveling with bus  … and also money. Really have to re-consider this for future trip
