SG version of Ratatouille

Work seems gradually increase right after the Thanksgiving ... expected. About 7pm, went to dinner with friends and they brought me to try out nice ramen with fried black pork meat. From the menu, they were voted SG no. 1 Japanese Black Pork noodle. They even mentioned the soup have to boil for at least 2 days :)

The soup and fried pork are good but the noodle spoil the whole thing. It's like not cook properly and nothing like ramen. I think it will be better with maggi noodle ;) How much? Not cheap, about S$16.80 per bowl. After the meal, I've to attend my daily TC at 8:30pm. While in the call, I felt something touching my leg then I can feel 'it' started to scratch my pant and when I move out my chair and check what's going on ... there is a rat climbing toward my upper body. When I try to shake it off, it jump toward my hand and went off with few scratches. Initially I don't feel anything but when the wound starting to appear after a while ... seems like canned or scratches by female long nail :(

Some of the patrons were so scared and some even jump up to avoid the running rat. Guess one of the waitress noted my hand and handing over some aid band and medical wound cleaner. The cook even came out and apology to me. To assure me, they even hand me their manager's namecard and advise me to contact him if something happen to my hand. Lastly, they even give me a complimentary orange pudding to show their sincere.

Of course I can demand for more because they are so called voted No. 1 for Black Pork noodle but I strongly believe in Karma. What goes around comes around and they already being so sincere and regret. While leaving the restaurant, it seems everyone bid me as if I'm VIP there. This makes me recall a scene in movie Ratatouille where the rat was fleeing in the kitchen ;)

After that, we went to Clarke Quay river for some walk and went for Ice Cream + biscuit as dessert ... my fav :) Also the Christmas preparation seems ready and managed to take few pix as remembrance. Also they have some remote control flying kite and from far, it looks like alien ship wandering at Clarke Quay. They are renting out for public and I bet it should be pricey cause not much people playing that.

When on my way back, I check my hand and it seems not so serious and hopefully everything will be fine soon (not bad if getting worst so I can get MC, hehe)
