Day trip to Seremban

To be exact, it's 5 hours trip to Seremban and the objective is to buy school uniform for the kids. Why all the way there? For sure there will be a reason unless I'm too firee and rich. There is a very old tailor shop which only sell wide range of school uniform including girl guide/boy scout. In addition, their quality is very good whereby it can last you for at least 2 years. Also we have been getting from this shop since 8 years ago ;) To be on safe side, called the shop owner and ensure they open today. It's not far but still why waste time and money to go there then realise they are close?

The traffic seems ok after Sg Besi toll but once near Nilai, jam started and it's consistently jam until Seremban. OMG, what happen to those days highway where it was so smooth and hardly jam? Initially thought accident happen ahead but it's just jam for no reason. It must be those Seremban people traveling back after half day work from KL. I can understand why they have to travel and work in KL everyday because it's just like me working in SG and traveling back to KL every weekend. Anyway, this is only once or twice a year kind of thing. So better enjoy the journey by chatting with my family rather than tension and frustration throughout the trip.

By the time we reach the tailor shop, there were already few families trying and paying for their uniform. Without wasting time, we quickly went to the counter and ask for sizes. That lady is so experience whereby she can just take a look at your kid and instantly know what size will fit them. To prove she might have mistake, I advise my kids to try it out because I don't want to come back again and guess what, it was perfectly fit on the first try. Now it really impressed me and quickly we settle the bill. Total damage is RM270 for 2 blouses, 2 pants and 6 white shirts. When we're about to leave, few more families were arriving and I'm so glad we arrive earlier than them otherwise will take longer time ;)

Next to it, there was a Indian restaurant selling Cendol and Rojak. It's been ages since I eat those food and without second thought, I quickly went in for some quick snack. When it arrive, I was so admire and like the metal bowl and cutlery for the Cendol. How I wish I can take them back. The appearance is just so so and same goes to their Rojak, which make me feel a bit disappointed. Price wise it's not much cheaper than KL where it cost RM1.20 for Cendol and RM3 for Rojak.

Here is the Cendol. Hmm, colour seems fade and diluted
After stirred, barely look like Cendol now
This is their standard Rojak. Small portion and not much fried stuffs
After stirred and sauce seems diluted too
After the snack, we went to Jusco Seremban for some leisure walk and bring Kai Meng to play at the amusement park. While KM was playing, it was a surprised to know Violet spotted a dress and wanted to buy it. Man, this is the first time ever I heard that and since she like it and CNY will be coming soon, so Shireen bought her the dress which cost about RM70 after discounted. Seems she started to be attentive to her outfit. About 4pm, we started our journey back to KL and we manage to complete it within 40 mins because it was a smooth home stretch ;)

Once I stepped into my condo, my dad called and asked for dinner ... Damn, I'm so tired and really wanted to rest and lazy around at home but knowing him ... no choice but to crawl to the restaurant by 7pm. After the dinner, I thought that is it ... I can finally claim my private time but again he asked for brunch at Lot 10 Lower Ground food court. I've already told him food just so so but pricey and not easy to get table there. He still stubborn and told me that his friend strongly recommended that to him. Sigh, I've to reluctantly accepted it ... again and hopefully I can straight home after brunch tomorrow.

Now, I can feel my head is a bit heavy now and have to bed soon otherwise the situation will get worst very soon. Will take a rest now, maybe a massage then sleep soon. Good night!
