Orchard Day

This morning, I purposely wake up at 7:15am and try to get office early so that no one will able to pick on me anymore. Anyway, it's not that tough. About 8:10am, I took a glance at my kids before I leave the house. Although it's a small room but it's really warm to be together because every night after dinner and shopping, we went home with some supper and watch movie until 12am. I'd say very fruitful and quality time.

Even during the journey to office, I keep checking FB and Skype in hope they will online so I can still chat with them but knowing them, they will only wake up at 10am .. at least. So during lunch and tea break, I will Skype with them to ensure they have had their meal on time and to see how things going.

Once I reached office, I received a sudden email asking me to open the SAP system for configuration and it was suppose to be 1pm but they have moved it earlier to 8am. Luckily I came earlier otherwise everyone will know I normally reach office late. So, a small initiative make a lot of difference. From today onward, I will leave house latest by 8:15am and reach office before 9am ;)

About 12:30pm, I've asked Akash for lunch because I've booked him for farewell lunch since last week. Anyhow, he's a good guy but sometimes just being arrogant and moody. So I brought him to the place where he first bought me for lunch during my 1st day to work. So now, I'm sort of repaying him and in fact I wore the same shirt without knowing it. I ordered myself Tom Yam soup with white rice and the whole lunch cost me S$20.20.

About 4pm, I suppose to join for 1 hour Group 2 project kick off meeting but due to too many events took place at the same time (Jan 2011), few people raised their concerns and discuss in further and it drag until 2 hours! Man, I was so boring in there and I plan to leave at 6pm because I need to meet up with my family at Orchard. When the meeting finished at 6pm, I quickly went back to my place and clear some urgent tasks then went off to Orchard.

By the time I reached Orchard, everywhere is so pack and I need to meet up with my family ay Borders, ION Orchard. Since they don't want food court anymore so we went to have Pizza Hut. It was new to them and they seems like it very much. It was fun to have dinner with them but had to attend 8:30pm as usual, really potong stim!

After the dinner and meeting, we went to Takashimaya and had the biscuit ice cream, their favourites. Also there is a toy fair in Takashimaya but nothing much special. So didn't buy much stuffs. About 10pm, we've adjourned and went home. When we get out of Hougang MRT, it was heavy rain and since we don't have umbrella, so went to nearby McD for supper ;) For a nugget large value meal and a extra large coke, it cost only S$10.80 ... so cheap (no conversion pls).

Violet accidentally cut her hand??!?!
